Lovely Hands is a household support and social companionship service. We focus on domestic help such as cleaning, cooking, errands, and transport, along with genuine companionship. We are not a healthcare, nursing, or personal care provider. This means we're flexible, friendly, and available without waitlists or formal assessments.

We can collect a prescription from the pharmacy as an errand, but we don't administer medications, fill pill boxes, or assist with personal care such as showering, dressing or lifting. These services sit within the healthcare sector; if that level of support is needed, your GP or Health NZ (0800 611 116) can point you to the right provider. Our focus is comfortable, happy home life, not clinical care.

Yes. We hold public liability insurance covering accidental damage or injury while working in your home. We're happy to share our credentials at the meet & greet or beforehand if you'd like.

We come to your home for a relaxed 30-minute visit, with no cost and no commitment. We have a chat, understand what you need, and make sure it feels right for everyone. Families are very welcome to be present or to make the initial enquiry on behalf of a loved one.

Absolutely. We ask for 24 hours' notice where possible, but we understand that life, and health, doesn't always allow for that. We'll always do our best to find another time that works for you.
